Streetparade Zürich

[12.8. Zürich Stadt] On saturday afternoon we enjoyed some sun in the park next to the lake and waited for the trucks from the streetparade. Sitting there we could watch many weird dressed people walking by, security officers looking for guys selling beers and the police watching out for any kind of drugs... f.x. laughing gas! There were 5-6 people maybe 30 meters from us selling the gas in blue balloons to everyone who wanted. Then the police came, first with two police men, later with 10 or 15, both sides were argueing (while one balloon after the other got filled with gas:-) and after half an hour the police went away without the bottle of gas - and on the bench the same procedure as usual!
When the trucks arrived it began to rain again, but there were still 800.000 people around downtown, dancing, drinking beer and watching. The only thing we were afraid of, was the Zoom Festival Area in the night where we wanted to go in any case. Raphi bought some rubberboots, but i decided to take the risk and go in my polish 69,- Zloty-shoes... which was, öhm, maybe not the best decision i ever made.
