Nach mehreren Bier mit ein paar Franzosen, einer Schnapsidee und einem unerfreulichen Gespräch mit einem Palästinenser sitze ich jetzt angepisst zu Hause und eröffne diesen Blog - undskyld dafür!

Belgium I, Brussel

No visit to Brussel without the atomium, the town's landmark which was built in 1958. A pity that some parts were closed, but it´s worth a visit..inside it still looks like the 50ies. The rest of Brussel is nice as well, but not as beautiful as Gent fx and the tourist attractions are even smaller than the little mermaid in CPH..

Manneken Pis (amazing how many japanese tourists want photos of this guy...)

Ontwerp je eigen Schimmel!
schimmel, mildew, moisissure ... it was smelling a lot in this container :P

Belgium I, Gent

My oldest memories concerning Belgium are from a journey with my parents by car. I remember the ugly lights on the highway but no towns - belgium was for me just the country you have to go through when you want to get to France. The faster the better!
Okok, i changed my mind :) With a very nice guide and besides the highway Belgium is really a nice country.. Now i´ve been there three times and know almost every town except from the french part (ok, it´s like DK, there aren´t so many, but the few are more nice than Kiel at least).
These photos are from this spring/march...
